TAMPA, Fla. – Next week, the Pet Loss Center of Tampa plans to open its doors to provide private cremations of pets and pet loss support programs.

This will be the sixth location the Pet Loss Center plans to open in Texas and in Florida.

“All pets deserve dignity and respect in life and in death,” said Coleen Ellis, Pet Loss Pioneer of The Pet Loss Center.

The small business chose Tampa because of its strong reputation as a pet-loving city, they said.

Nick Padlo leads the The Pet Loss Center and said they do more than cremation, they can drive to you and pick your animal up to make the process easier.

He says his company does this in the most respected ways and provides a unique tracking system that follows a pet owner through the entire process in real time.

“We will send one of our drivers to your house, and he will come and he will help you with your pet in a loving and respectful way,” said Padlo.

More people choose to cremate their pets instead of burying them. Right now, it’s estimated 99 percent of pets are cremated.

“People increasingly live in cities, we just don’t have a backyard, and we’re more mobile than we use to be, so we want to take that family member with us,” said Padlo.

Along with memorial options, the company offers free grief counseling support by phone with a certified specialist at 813-999-4049.

The Pet Loss Center is also currently hiring hard working pet parents as customer care drivers and crematory drivers.
