TAMPA, FL (October XX, 2016)—Pet memorial provider The Pet Loss Center, which opened its Tampa location in late August, will host an open house on October 28 and 29 with guided tours and opportunities to learn about the Center’s services. A sneak preview and free Compassion Fatigue seminar will be held for veterinary professionals on October 27.
Friday, October 28—5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Saturday, October 29—12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Refreshments will be served and pets are welcome.
For every person who visits the open house on behalf of a local rescue group or shelter, The Pet Loss Center will donate $5 to that organization. The organization that has the most attendees represented at the open house will receive an additional $500 donation.
Compassion Fatigue Seminar
Thursday, October 27—6:00 p.m. (doors open); seminar runs from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. followed by networking until 8:00 p.m.
Refreshments will be served.
This special evening will teach essential self-care techniques and survival tips for busy veterinary professionals. The seminar meets the requirements for one hour of continuing education credits in jurisdictions that recognize AAVSB RACE (Registry of Approved Continuing Education) approvals.
